MANNULLY OPERATED EQUIPMENTS
 
1. MANUAL RICE TRANSPLANTER 2. MANNUAL SEED CUM FERTILIZER DRILL/PLANTER
It is a six row manually operated equipment to transplant mat type rice seedling in puddle soil in rows. It consists of handle, picker assembly, seedling tray, and tray indexing mechanism, main frame, base frame, and seedling pushing lever, feeder link assembly, wooden skid and pivot arm assembly. It is single row manually operated equipment for drilling seed and fertilizer by using fluted rollers. It is suitable for sowing of wheat, maize, soyabean, green gram, bengal gram, peas etc. in rows by changing the suitable metering roller.
 
3. SINGLE ROW GARLIC PLANTER
It is single row manually operated equipment for sowing of garlic seed. It is also suitable for sowing of maize, soyabean, green gram, bengal gram, peas etc. in rows by changing the suitable metering roller.
 
4. GRUBBER WEEDER 5. SINGLE WHEEL HOE
It is a simple and light weight, manually operated equipment for weeding and intercultural operations in upland row crops. It consists of long handle, ferrule, and three tyne sweep type blades. The operator uses the pull force to break the soil crust and uproot the weeds. 6. PEG TYPE DRY LAND WEEDER 7. TWIN WHEEL HOE WEEDER
It is manually operated equipment for weeding and interculture in row crops. It consists of handle, adjustable V blade and peg holding roller. The top soil crest is broken by roller while weeds uprooting and soil mulching are done by the blade through push and pull action. 8. TUBULAR MAIZE SHELLER 9. FERTILIZER BRODCASTER
It is a hand operated tool to shell maize from dehusked cobs. It consists of galvanized mild steel pipe with four tapred fins riveted to its inner periphery. The Sheller is held in one hand, cob held in other hand is inserted into it with forward and backward twist, to achieve the shelling. It is hand operated equipment suitable for broadcasting granular chemical fertilizer like CAN and UREA. It is also useful for broadcasting small seeds like barseem and oil seed. During operation the equipment is mounted on the left shoulder with the help of belt and kept in front of chest below the chin and the broadcasting is done by rotating the handle in clockwise direction with right hand.
