Time of sowing
Toria should be sown before 20th
September. Late sowing of the crop results in reduced yield.
Method of sowing
For pure crop, seed should be sown in rows 30 cm apart by drill or kera. The
seed should be placed at 2-3 cm depth. In case the moisture in the soil is insufficient,
the seed may be mixed with moist soil and kept overnight for soaking.
Seed rate
The see rate is 10-15 kg/ha.
