Sheep and Wool Developoment
Himachal Pradesh, an Indian State is geographically situated in the Western Himalayan part of the sub continent. It is primarily a hill state, comprising of snowy mountains and enchanting wealth of flora and fauna. This State is surrounded by Punjab in the West, Uttar Pradesh in South East, Haryana in South and Jammu Kashmir in the North. In East it forms India's international border with Tibet. In Himachal Pradesh, because of its ideal agro-climatic conditions Sheep rearing is a major occupation with majority of households.
